Life is what you make of it, so start now and take control of which direction you want life to take you. Here are two of my own resolutions for this year... one's I plan on sticking to even when the going gets extremely tough. Be inspired, make your own, and stick it through to the end of 2015!
You'll be amazed and inspired by what the Lord has accomplished in your life because of your willingness to commit :)
Resolution to Discipline
This coming year is going to be one of a lot of changes. I have decided to commit myself to building SOUL Creations, preparing to be a newlywed, and searching for a full-time job. These three things take time and effort. Photos like the one on the right do not happen right away. It takes effort to get it looking great. There needs to be base self-discipline, ready to sacrifice some sleep and personal time to continue growing in knowledge, understanding, and wisdom -- which is exactly what I want to do this year.
I want to look back on December 30, 2015 and say that I have changed and grown a lot. That I am not the same person I was before, that I worked hard to get where I am then, and that SOUL Creations has successfully reached it's annual goals and inspired others to love unconditionally.

Resolution to Self-Control
I have been working on self-control in a lot of life areas.
1. To live a very healthy lifestyle while in an environment where with one shopping trip taken on a hungry stomach or taking home cookie leftovers from a party can take me two steps back. So this year will be: The Year With Minimal Sweets... which means no blizzards, no homemade sweet breads like in the photo below and no mint chocolate chip ice cream. I am going without and seeing how a better diet will affect my energy, memory, and creativity!

2. To enjoy a balanced day during a crazy time of life. With job applications, SOUL Creations paperwork, and wedding planning, I have been known to go into overdrive and not realize that I've been missing meals, sleep, and conversation until the end of the week. To prioritize my time even during hectic situations will be one of the greatest life hacks I'll learn this coming year.

I'm excited to be changed because of these deep motivations to be self-disciplined and self-control.
My prayer for you is that you find the same strength, coming from our Father,
knowing change is possible, and committing to succeed.
